JJ Watt has come to a multiyear agreement with CBS to remain Jim Nantz's NFL booth partner. Watt had been filling in since Tony Romo’s July arrest and subsequent departure from the network.

Former NFL star JJ Watt has signed a multiyear contract with CBS Sports to become the network's permanent lead NFL game analyst alongside Jim Nantz. Watt had been filling in for six weeks following Tony Romo's departure. The deal officially secures Watt's role calling his first Super Bowl in Atlanta on February 13, 2028.
Watt initially joined CBS Sports in 2023 as a studio analyst before calling games with Ian Eagle last season. He was promoted to the top broadcast booth after Romo was placed on leave in July following an arrest and subsequently parted ways with CBS earlier this month.
