Los Angeles Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman announced that he expects the coaching staff to remain status quo for the 2027 season. Speaking at an end-of-season press conference alongside general manager Brandon Gomes, Friedman indicated that continuity will continue despite roster changes and disappointment over falling short of a third consecutive title.
While external criticism emerged regarding offensive struggles in October, hitting coaches Robert Van Scoyoc and Aaron Bates are expected to return alongside manager Dave Roberts and pitching coach Mark Prior. In the front office, special advisor Rocco Baldelli is reportedly being considered by the Seattle Mariners for their open managerial role.
