The Vikings skipper has been impressed, insisting that the addition in Minnesota’s bullpen is somebody with "juice" and an "elite" pair of hands.
Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell praised practice squad receiver Odell Beckham Jr. during a weekly interview with Paul Allen. O'Connell stated that Beckham still possesses elite hands and has plenty of juice left to contribute as depth when called upon from the bullpen.
Beckham was elevated to the active roster for Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints but did not play. Writer K. Joudry notes that O'Connell previously worked with Beckham on the Los Angeles Rams and that Beckham also shares an LSU connection with star wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
