Browns DE Jared Verse Shut Down Deshaun Watson Party Invite

Cleveland Browns defensive end Jared Verse revealed he skipped a team victory party hosted by quarterback Deshaun Watson because of a long commute. Watson organized the gathering following Cleveland's 13-10 win over the Baltimore Ravens, which moved the team to a 4-2 record. While Verse opted out due to an hour-long drive, he praised Watson for organizing the event and helping strengthen overall team chemistry.

Verse joined Cleveland alongside multiple draft picks in a major trade that sent Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams. Although Verse has yet to record a sack through six games, he noted he remains unfrustrated as the team continues winning. Under head coach Todd Monken, the Browns defense entered Week 7 ranked second in the NFL with 19 sacks.
