Thanks to standout performances from both Dan Vladar and Joseph Woll early on this season, the Flyers look like they are in good shape in their crease.

Broad Street Buzz highlights that the Philadelphia Flyers are enjoying strong goaltending early in the season thanks to Dan Vladar and Joseph Woll. Following a tough 7-0 season-opening loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, Vladar has posted a .921 save percentage and a 2.38 goals-against average over his next five appearances.
Woll has similarly impressed over his first six starts, recording a .917 save percentage, 2.64 goals-against average, and 4.8 goals saved above average. Writer Kevin Lagowski argues that general manager Danny Briere made a smart acquisition in Woll, giving head coach Rick Tocchet dependable options in net.
