Bradley Barcola was absent from Liverpool's team training session on Thursday, but Sky Sports reporter Vinny O'Connor clarified that the winger was participating in an individual recovery session. Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola has been managing the 24-year-old's workload following a heavy schedule since his £106m move from Paris Saint-Germain, including a substitute appearance in Tuesday's win over Villarreal.
O'Connor noted that Victor Munoz, Jeremie Frimpong, and Dominik Szoboszlai were also absent from squad training, alongside longer-term absentees Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley, and Giovanni Leoni. Barcola has played in 13 consecutive games for club and country over six-and-a-half weeks, and Liverpool hope he will be available for Sunday's match against Brighton.
