Liverpool have pulled off an incredible transfer masterstroke, it could be the bargain of the century…
Liverpool secured an apparent bargain by signing 18-year-old Austrian centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Austria Vienna on a permanent transfer for £2.6m. After initially failing to qualify for a work permit, Ndukwe joined Spanish side Levante on a season-long loan, where manager Luis Castro has praised his potential to become one of the world's best.
Ndukwe has since met work-permit criteria and could reportedly be recalled by Liverpool via a clause in January. The signing comes amid broader defensive turnover at Anfield following earlier deals for Giovanni Leoni, Jeremy Jacquet, and Mor Talla Ndiaye.
