Victor Wembanyama said he was overthinking in the Spurs’ opening-night loss to OKC, and that is a San Antonio problem to solve, not a Wemby problem.

Air Alamo writer Jahlil Williams argues that Victor Wembanyama should not be left overthinking his role following a 1-of-13 shooting performance in a loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. After San Antonio reached the NBA Finals and won 62 games, Wembanyama admitted postgame that he was not decisive and needed to think less on the court.
Williams contends that the Spurs' introduction of an unorthodox lineup featuring Dylan Harper unnecessarily complicates the team's system. He states that San Antonio's primary focus should be keeping Wembanyama comfortable rather than forcing the superstar to reinvent his approach.
