Winnipeg’s top prospect brings his AHL scoring surge to the big stage, aiming to ignite the Jets' stagnant offense against a stingy, league-leading Dallas defense tonight.

The Winnipeg Jets have announced that top prospect Brayden Yager will make his season debut against the Dallas Stars. The 21-year-old forward was recalled on Monday and is set to appear in his fourth career NHL game as the Jets face the Stars' league-leading defense.
Yager enters the contest after a productive start with the AHL's Manitoba Moose, recording nine points in six games. Winnipeg is looking to bolster an offense that has averaged 2.67 goals across its first nine games of the season.
