Perth Scorchers have signed England wicketkeeper-batter Aneurin Donald to a one-year deal for BBL|16. The 29-year-old will have full availability, including the finals, providing crucial cover as veteran Josh Inglis remains uncommitted to the reigning champions following the recent player movement window. Donald recently made his England T20I debut during a series sweep against Sri Lanka.
Donald's arrival follows the departure of top-run scorer Finn Allen to Melbourne Stars. He joins fellow English overseas signings Zak Crawley and Calvin Harrison on head coach Adam Voges' roster, which currently stands at 15 confirmed players for the upcoming tournament.
