The first Englishman to score an ODI double hundred was upstaged by Rathnayake and co's spectacular heist…

Harry Brook struck a record-breaking 202 off 114 balls to become England's first ODI double-centurion, but Sri Lanka completed the second-highest successful run-chase in ODI history to claim a stunning two-wicket win in Rawalpindi. Brook's knock, alongside Will Jacks' 66 not out and Joe Root's 69, powered England to 4-429.
Sri Lanka chased down the 430-run target with one ball to spare, propelled by Pavan Rathnayake's 130 and 97 each from Avishka Fernando and Dasun Shanaka. Janith Liyanage sealed the remarkable victory with a penultimate-ball six off Josh Tongue, leaving England on the brink of tri-series elimination.
