Skipper quick to turn the page on remarkable Gqeberha triumph, with his sights already firmly set on the decider…
Temba Bavuma believes South Africa's finest victory may come in next week's deciding Test against Australia in Cape Town. His comments follow the Proteas' dominant innings-and-31-run victory over the tourists in Gqeberha, where Bavuma anchored the turnaround with a knock of 179 after South Africa slipped to 6-110 in their first innings.
The series now heads to Newlands level at 1-1, following Australia's 214-run victory in Durban. South Africa also featured standout performances from Marco Jansen, Simon Harmer, and Kagiso Rabada, though they face a forced change ahead of the third Test due to Anrich Nortje sustaining a groin injury.
