With no more T20Is until next year's Champions Trophy, Molineux's stars will keep their skills sharp via WBBL and franchise leagues…

Australia's national women's cricket team will turn to the Women's Big Bash League and franchise tournaments to prepare for February's ICC Champions Trophy in India. Following a rain-affected 2-0 series victory over New Zealand at North Sydney Oval, Australia has no further scheduled Twenty20 Internationals before the global tournament. Captain Sophie Molineux highlighted the importance of deliberate individual preparation during this domestic stretch.
Players will compete in WBBL|12 from October 29 to December 5, followed by three one-dayers against Sri Lanka in December. At least ten Cricket Australia contracted players will then feature in the Women's Premier League running from January 14 to February 7, providing direct experience in Indian conditions prior to the Champions Trophy.
