Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden suggested on his show that Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell should pursue a trade reunion with quarterback Kirk Cousins. Despite Minnesota sitting at 5-0 under quarterback Kyler Murray, Gruden argued that receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison would benefit from Cousins, who has passed for 1,582 yards and 14 touchdowns through six games with Las Vegas.
While the Raiders are currently 3-3, rookie first-overall pick Fernando Mendoza is positioned as their future starter, leading to external speculation about Cousins' availability. However, Vikings On SI analyst Jason Harmon downplayed the prospect, placing the odds of a trade below 5% given Minnesota's undefeated record with Murray.
