The Cincinnati Bengals are off to a weird start to their 2026 campaign. While they’re looking mostly like a playoff team, they’re still sorting out some self-inflicted mistakes. In some good news, WR Tee Higgins is off to a great start.…

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins expressed strong confidence that teammate Ja'Marr Chase will soon overcome a slow statistical start to the 2026 campaign. Following a Thursday practice, Higgins told reporters that Chase is bound to find his rhythm soon. Through the opening stretch of games, Chase has recorded 27 receptions for 289 yards and four touchdowns, falling off his usual 1,000-yard pace.
Chase addressed his subdued receiving totals by noting that opposing defenses have adjusted coverage schemes, limiting his downfield opportunities and preventing any 100-yard performances so far. Despite the slower start, Chase and the Bengals will look to rebound in an upcoming AFC North showdown against the Baltimore Ravens, an opponent against whom Chase has historically posted prolific numbers.
