Exeter back Tommy Wyatt could be out until December after injuring his ankle.

Exeter Chiefs back Tommy Wyatt faces another spell on the sidelines after suffering an ankle injury that could keep him out until December. The 26-year-old was forced off during the first half of Exeter's European Champions Cup defeat against Toulouse. Wyatt had previously missed time after recovering from a serious knee injury and suffering a shoulder problem during the pre-season.
Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter confirmed the injury does not require surgery, expressing hope that Wyatt will return later in the Prem Cup period or for the Premiership's resumption. Wyatt's absence compounds injury concerns for Exeter's back division, which is already missing Campbell Ridl, Immanuel Feyi-Waboso, Paul Brown-Bampoe, and Olly Woodburn.
