The Hurricanes and New Zealand Rugby have secured prop Siale Lauaki on a long-term contract running through the end of the 2029 Super Rugby Pacific season. The deal keeps the 23-year-old front-rower in New Zealand through the 2029 British and Irish Lions tour. Lauaki, who made his Hurricanes debut in 2024 against the Fijian Drua, expressed his gratitude for the club's continued backing.

Lauaki recently featured in three midweek tour matches for the All Blacks in South Africa after being selected in their 44-man touring squad.
