Jaylen Brown claims ‘cap’ on Instagram in reaction to Jayson Tatum’s comments on 76ers trade

Jaylen Brown reacted to former Boston Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum's comments regarding Brown's trade to the Philadelphia 76ers by posting a blue hat emoji on Instagram. The symbol, widely understood as slang for "cap" or untruthfulness, was left underneath a clip from Tatum's YouTube documentary. In the video, Tatum claimed he was completely caught off guard upon learning Boston traded Brown to Philadelphia during the summer.

Brown did not clarify which specific portion of Tatum's account he disputed. Despite expressing surprise at the trade, Tatum praised their nine-year partnership, highlighting their 2024 championship. However, Brown had previously revealed in August that he had barely spoken to Tatum following the deal, suggesting their relationship may have become strained.
