Scotland internationals pivotal as EPL side take historic Europa League win.

Scotland international Ben Gannon-Doak was hailed as a "special player" following his standout performance in AFC Bournemouth's historic 3-0 Europa League victory over AC Milan on Thursday night. The 20-year-old winger earned man-of-the-match honors as goals from Julian Kluivert, Marcus Tavernier, and Amine Adli secured the famous win against a Milan side reduced to ten men after goalkeeper Mike Maignan was sent off.
Fellow Scotland international Ryan Christie also starred in midfield, achieving a 93 percent passing accuracy. Bournemouth manager Marco Rose praised Gannon-Doak, who joined from Liverpool for £25 million in September 2025 and has recently returned to form after recovering from a major hamstring injury.
