Castleford Tigers have their sights on an NRL forward to join Paul Rowley’s squad, but they have two hurdles to overcome.

Castleford Tigers are exploring a deal to sign Canterbury Bulldogs forward Jack Todd for the upcoming Super League season. The 24-year-old made his NRL debut in 2025 and is currently an off-contract forward assessing his options, with Canterbury offering him a chance to remain.
A potential transfer faces obstacles, including Castleford's overseas quota limit and Todd's history of injuries. Castleford currently has 11 quota players contracted against a maximum limit of ten, and the club is awaiting a full medical report before advancing any talks.
