Warriors coach Steve Kerr was caught on a hot mic criticizing officials for favoring the Los Angeles Lakers during Golden State's 127-105 season-opening loss.

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was caught on an ESPN hot mic complaining about officiating favoritism toward the Los Angeles Lakers. During the third quarter of the Warriors' 127–105 season-opening loss on Wednesday night, Kerr told rookie Yaxel Lendeborg that referees call fouls in Los Angeles that would not be called in any other arena, a moment that quickly went viral on social media.
Kerr's frustration centered on Lendeborg's matchup against Lakers star Luka Dončić, who scored a game-high 28 points and took nine free throws. Despite Kerr's comments, official statistics showed both teams attempted 27 free throws, while the Lakers were whistled for 25 fouls compared to Golden State's 19.
