There's no shortage of former Cincinnati Reds players who'll be on the field for the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays during this year's World Series.

Drew Koch highlights the former Cincinnati Reds players involved in the 2026 World Series matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers. The list of former Reds includes Rays pitchers Nick Martinez, Joe Boyle, and Casey Legumina, injured infielder Gavin Lux, outfielder Ryan Vilade, and Brewers infielder Jake Bauers, who won NLCS MVP honors.
Koch suggests that pending free agent Nick Martinez would make sense as an offseason reunion target for Reds president of baseball operations Nick Krall. However, Koch notes that Martinez's strong season, including an All-Star selection, may drive his free-agent price tag beyond what Cincinnati wants to spend.
