Everton manager David Moyes declined to confirm defender Jarrad Branthwaite's availability ahead of Saturday's Premier League match against Arsenal. During his pre-match press conference, Moyes chose to keep squad fitness details quiet following a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea, refusing to answer specific questions regarding Branthwaite's status for the trip to the Emirates Stadium.
Moyes offered more detail on midfielder Christian Norgaard, admitting the summer signing remains further away from full fitness than hoped after a groin problem. The Everton manager stated the club does not expect Norgaard to be fully firing until after the next international break. Moyes also noted that moving Jack Grealish into a central role remains under consideration.
