The price would be high, but Cleveland Guardians' star Steven Kwan could be the perfect fit for the Kansas City Royals' outfield problems this offseason.

Kings of Kauffman's Brian Burrows argues that the Kansas City Royals should target Cleveland Guardians outfielder Steven Kwan via a trade this offseason. With outfield openings in left and center field, Burrows suggests that acquiring the multi-time Gold Glove winner would effectively solve Kansas City's roster weaknesses and provide an ideal leadoff hitter ahead of Bobby Witt Jr.
While insider Robert Murray reported that Kwan could be dealt, Burrows acknowledges an intradivision trade would carry a significant premium. Despite this obstacle and a projected $11.3 million arbitration salary, Burrows maintains that Kwan's elite defense and contact hitting justify the aggressive pursuit.
