The Story in 60 Seconds

New York Knicks assistant coaches reportedly received empty boxes instead of championship rings during the team's opening-night ceremony at Madison Square Garden. According to a report by The Athletic, seven league sources confirmed that the assistants were not awarded rings, having learned earlier that day they would not receive them as they had not yet been fitted.
