Darius Acuff Jr. might finally have some backup after the Sacramento Kings signed Sean Pedulla to a two-way contract.

The Sacramento Kings have signed 24-year-old point guard Sean Pedulla to their final two-way contract. The move provides depth behind Darius Acuff Jr. after the team recently parted ways with several guards, including Adam Flagler, and lost Ben Simmons to a season-ending injury.
Pedulla was the NBA G League Rookie of the Year during the 2025-2026 season with the Rip City Remix and the Clippers' affiliate before a brief stint with the Rockets. Writer Ian Goodwillie notes Pedulla brings offensive playmaking, though defensive concerns remain, and suggests Sacramento should still pursue an experienced point guard.
