Borussia Mönchengladbach's 17-year-old attacking midfielder Wael Mohya has issued an apology to VfB Stuttgart supporters following a provocative goal celebration on Friday night. The incident occurred during Gladbach's dramatic 3-2 comeback victory at Stuttgart, which marked the club's first Bundesliga win of the season after six consecutive defeats.
Speaking to BILD after the match, Mohya admitted that he deliberately celebrated in front of the home fans and expressed regret for his actions. The teenager played a decisive role in the victory, recording both a goal and an assist under head coach Alexander Blessin.
