James Reimer was stellar in his first start in Hartford as the Wolf Pack got back in the win column.

The Hartford Wolf Pack defeated the Providence Bruins 2-0 on Friday night at PeoplesBank Arena, powered by a 35-save shutout from veteran goaltender James Reimer. After two scoreless periods, Liam Greentree broke the deadlock 57 seconds into the third period with a power-play goal set up by Glenn Gawdin. Carey Terrance added an empty-net goal in the final seconds to seal the victory.
Reimer's clean sheet marked his first shutout with Hartford, making him the oldest AHL goaltender to record a shutout since Wade Flaherty in 2008. Bruins goaltender Simon Zajíček made seven saves in the loss. The Wolf Pack now begin an eight-game road trip starting against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
