Eddie Howe has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Michael Carrick at Man United…

Former Bournemouth player Marc Pugh has urged ex-Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe to jump at the chance to manage Manchester United if offered the role. Howe is reportedly viewed as a leading candidate to replace head coach Michael Carrick amid mounting pressure at Old Trafford following a difficult start to the campaign.
Manchester United sit 20th in the Premier League table and are winless in seven matches across all competitions. While club executives reportedly intend to give Carrick time, including managing Sunday's clash against Bournemouth, Howe remains unattached and available after departing Newcastle in the summer.
