Scorer for the first time this season against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 (1-3), this Saturday afternoon, Ilya Zabarnyi allowed PSG…

Paris Saint-Germain defender Ilya Zabarnyi pushed back against the "Farmers League" label often applied to Ligue 1 following his side's 3-1 victory over Strasbourg. The Ukrainian defender scored his first goal of the season to help PSG mount a comeback at La Meinau after trailing for 77 minutes.
Speaking in the mixed zone, Zabarnyi noted the difficulty of adjusting back to domestic action after playing in the Champions League, where PSG recently defeated Manchester City 4-2. He addressed comments often made across the English Channel, stating that despite jokes from critics, matches in Ligue 1 remain complicated and difficult for Paris Saint-Germain.
