Former Sunderland star Phil Bardsley has discussed his relationship with Roy Keane during their time at the Stadium of Light.

Former Sunderland defender Phil Bardsley has opened up about his relationship with former manager Roy Keane, detailing his experiences with Keane's fiery managerial style. Speaking on Call Yourself a Fan, Bardsley recalled receiving the infamous "hairdryer" treatment from his former teammate and manager, which involved intense shouting and smashed tactic boards when performances dropped.
Bardsley, who previously played with Keane at Manchester United, joined Sunderland under Keane in January 2008 and helped preserve the club's Premier League status. Despite Keane's temperamental outbursts, Bardsley emphasized that the pair maintained a strong, professional relationship throughout their time together at the Stadium of Light.
