The crucial battle for pole at the 2026 F1 US Grand Prix takes centre stage in Austin today, and we really do mean crucial.

Qualifying for the 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix takes place on Saturday, October 24, at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. The session begins at 4:00 PM local Central time (5:00 PM Eastern, 10:00 PM BST). Viewers in the United States can watch the session live via an Apple TV seven-day free trial, while UK fans can tune in via Sky Sports F1 or watch highlights on Channel 4.
Historically, 11 of the 13 races held at the Circuit of the Americas have been won from the front row. Red Bull's Max Verstappen enters qualifying as a top contender alongside title leader Kimi Antonelli, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc led both Friday practice sessions.
