Tiger Woods is reportedly set to design his first golf course in Europe, leading a £30 million project in Northern Ireland. According to reports cited by the Derry Journal and local council briefings, the 15-time Major winner will design a new links layout situated in Bellarena along the north coast.
The project is being developed by the hospitality business Galgorm Collection and would mark the region's first new links layout in over 100 years. Woods' firm, TGR Design, has previously developed courses across the United States and Mexico, with a Proposal of Application Notice for the Bellarena site submitted in August.
