Tidiam Gomis scored his first Champions League goal for RB Leipzig at the Santiago Bernabéu despite a 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid. The 20-year-old French forward came on for the final fifteen minutes and scored a late consolation goal during a counterattack, highlighting his rapid progression under head coach Martin Demichelis.
Gomis joined RB Leipzig from Ligue 2 club Stade Malherbe de Caen in the January 2025 transfer window for around €1 million. He has emerged as a key rotation player this season, recording three goals and two assists in ten appearances across all competitions.
