With one-third of the regular season in the record books, let's check in on some of the top Seattle Seahawks free agents for the 2027 season.

Ernesto Cova of 12th Man Rising examines the contract situations of impending Seattle Seahawks free agents as the team sits at 3-3. Cova argues that pass rusher Uchenna Nwosu and backup quarterback Drew Lock have performed well enough in contract years to earn substantial paydays during the upcoming offseason.
According to Cova, Nwosu's projected $15 million market value will likely price him out of Seattle, while Lock could earn a multi-year deal as a high-end backup. Meanwhile, Cova suggests safety Ty Okada may be allowed to walk, whereas offensive lineman Anthony Bradford could be retained after Seattle struggled without him.
