Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy's superb seventh-wicket partnership guided India to a four-wicket win…

Tilak Varma and Nitish Kumar Reddy led India to a four-wicket victory over New Zealand in Christchurch, chasing down 181 to take a 2-0 series lead. India were struggling at 112-6 in the 15th over following Mitchell Santner's four-wicket spell, needing 68 from the final five overs. Varma smashed an unbeaten 51 off 25 balls alongside Reddy's 26 not out to secure victory with one ball remaining.
Earlier, New Zealand posted 180-5 courtesy of a 116-run partnership between Glenn Phillips, who struck 70, and Bevon Jacobs, who made 58. Despite early setbacks in the chase, the unbroken 69-run stand between Varma and Reddy ensured India secured the win ahead of the third match in Wellington.
