Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak is back where he belongs

David Pastrnak has returned to the NHL's top ten in scoring, helping lead the Boston Bruins to an 8-2-1 start. Across the team's first 11 games, Pastrnak leads Boston with six goals, 10 assists, and 16 points. Writer Brian Germinaro argues that Pastrnak's exceptional individual play has been the primary driving force behind the Bruins sitting atop the Atlantic Division.

Brian Germinaro highlights Pastrnak's continued evolution into an elite playmaker, noting that eight of his 10 assists this season have been primary assists. Citing underlying advanced metrics from Natural Stat Trick, the writer suggests Pastrnak is well-positioned to maintain his current pace and potentially secure his fifth consecutive 100-point season.
