After a match-winning cameo at Cape Town Stadium, flyhalf Yaqeen Ahmed wants to keep soaking up as much know-how from the Stormers’ Springbok stars as he can.

Stormers flyhalf Yaqeen Ahmed credited Springbok star Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu for guiding his decision-making during a match-winning cameo against the Scarlets at Cape Town Stadium. The 20-year-old came off the bench to score two crucial late tries, breaking a 40-40 deadlock to secure a 52-40 victory for head coach John Dobson's side.
Ahmed expressed his gratitude for learning alongside senior Springboks, noting that advice from players like Feinberg-Mngomezulu and Damian Willemse will benefit his development. With Feinberg-Mngomezulu expected to be rested, Ahmed could start at flyhalf against Ulster in round five of the United Rugby Championship next week.
