Geoff Parling's Leicester Tigers secured a decisive 28-7 victory over reigning champions Northampton Saints at Welford Road. Following a first-half brawl sparked by Alex Mitchell just before the interval, Leicester produced a dominant second-half display to run away with the win.
Parling praised the team's second-half performance as a return to traditional Tigers rugby. He challenged his squad to maintain that high level of play in their upcoming Friday night fixture against Bristol.
