The Story in 60 Seconds

BuffaLowDown's Brandon Ray evaluated the Buffalo Bills by grading each position group during their Week 7 bye week. Despite entering the break with a 5-1 record, Ray highlighted a stark contrast between Buffalo's elite offensive production and severe defensive struggles, noting the defense has surrendered 386.8 yards per game to rank near the bottom of the NFL.

Ray assigned top grades to special teams, quarterbacks, running backs, and the offensive line, while giving the linebackers a D and the safeties a failing F grade. Head coach Joe Brady received a B- grade, with Ray emphasizing that Brady and defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard must address heavy penalties and defensive liabilities.
