Spurs can thank their double Dutch defence for huge derby win…

The Standard's Sam Tabuteau awarded 9/10 ratings to defenders Jan Paul van Hecke and Micky van de Ven following Tottenham Hotspur's 2-0 win over 10-man Chelsea. Spurs claimed their first victory at Stamford Bridge since 2018 after an own goal by Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders and a late strike from Mathys Tel.
Tabuteau praised the Dutch defensive pairing for nullifying Chelsea's attack in a heated derby. Chelsea's Cole Palmer was sent off following a second yellow card for stamping on Conor Gallagher, while Tottenham midfielder James Maddison was forced off early in the second half due to an injury concern.
