Josh Simmons was kicked out of a team meeting by Chiefs coach Andy Reid and QB Patrick Mahomes, but the OT later apologized, sources told NFL Network.

Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Josh Simmons was told to leave a team meeting by head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes, sources told NFL Network. The incident occurred on Wednesday when Reid asked Simmons to take his feet down, prompting an exchange about Simmons' aching back and hips before Mahomes echoed Reid's instruction to leave and seek treatment.
Simmons subsequently apologized to Reid and team leadership for how he handled the situation. On Thursday, the Chiefs placed Simmons on injured reserve due to a bulging, herniated disk in his lower back, ruling him out for at least four games.
