Munster's captain brought the allegation to the referee's attention as the game was stopped for the TMO to inspect footage…

An investigation has been launched after Munster's clash against Leinster was halted following an accusation of foul play. Munster captain Tadhg Beirne alerted referee Andrew Brace late in the first half after back-rower Gavin Coombes alleged an opponent grabbed him in the groin area. While TMO Colin Stanley found no immediate video evidence, the matter will be referred to the match citing commissioner, with Munster head coach Clayton McMillan fully backing his player.
Leinster head coach Leo Cullen stated he did not see anything on initial review and suggested the complaint may have been withdrawn. On the pitch at the Aviva Stadium, Leinster recovered from an early 13-0 deficit to claim a 24-18 victory over Munster, securing their second win of the season through tries from Tommy O'Brien, Ryan Baird, Charlie Tector, and Jamie Osborne.
