Head coach Mark Jones paid tribute to “a proper Ospreys performance” as his team celebrated their St Helen’s homecoming with a 31-14 bonus point victory over the Dragons.
Ospreys head coach Mark Jones praised his team's performance following a 31-14 bonus-point victory over the Dragons in their return to St Helen’s. Playing their first fixture at the newly redeveloped Swansea ground in 20 years, the Ospreys scored five tries, including two from Wales scrum-half Reuben Morgan-Williams, in front of a sell-out crowd of 5,592.
The match was played in adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Boelo, with the Ospreys asserting dominance at the set piece. The Dragons struggled with indiscipline, conceding three yellow cards during the defeat, while coach Filo Tiatia acknowledged that the Ospreys were fully deserving winners on the night.
