These teams aren't going to take it easy on the Los Angeles Dodgers when it comes to the Tarik Skubal sweepstakes.
MLB insider Mark Feinsand has identified six potential suitors for pending free-agent pitcher Tarik Skubal, including the Los Angeles Dodgers. The other teams named as potential landing spots are the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, and Philadelphia Phillies, setting up stiff competition for Los Angeles.
Dodgers Way notes that while Los Angeles remains the frontrunner, other high-spending clubs could drive up the price. Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman confirmed the team remains in active dialogue with Skubal and his agent, Scott Boras, ahead of free agency.
