“Bam Ain’t Nothing but Brandon Bass With A’ja Wilson’s Phone Number”: LeBron James’ Friend Mocks Bam Adebayo as Heat Sink to 0-3 Start

LeBron James' associate and Fox Sports Radio co-host Cuffs the Legend publicly criticized Bam Adebayo following the Miami Heat's 0-3 start to the season. The remarks came after Miami suffered a 115-110 defeat against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, during which Giannis Antetokounmpo fouled out. Cuffs the Legend mocked Adebayo online, comparing him unfavorably to former NBA player Brandon Bass while suggesting Antetokounmpo already regrets joining Miami.

Miami had acquired Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis Jr. from Milwaukee in a massive offseason trade that depleted their roster depth and draft assets. While Antetokounmpo has averaged 28.3 points per game, Adebayo has struggled early, averaging 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra defended Antetokounmpo's physical style, comparing the officiating challenges he faces to Shaquille O'Neal.
