Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold had a “great” game in win over Chiefs, despite throwing one interception.

Quarterback Sam Darnold delivered a strong performance to guide the Seattle Seahawks to a 20-3 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 7. Darnold completed 20 of 28 passes for 257 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while adding 17 rushing yards. The offensive line surrendered zero sacks after conceding five in Week 6, helping Darnold orchestrate a much cleaner display.
Seattle excelled on critical downs, converting 11 of 16 third-down attempts, marking their highest single-game tally since 1991. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba led the Seahawks' offense with 150 receiving yards and a touchdown. Despite three empty red-zone trips, head coach Mike Macdonald commended the team's improved offensive rhythm and protection plan.
