Mikel Arteta has suggested he's compiling footage of other Premier League managers after being targeted by the media and officials for leaving his technical area.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta stated he is compiling images and footage of rival Premier League managers leaving their technical areas. Arteta received a yellow card for stepping out of his area during Arsenal's victory over Everton on Saturday, prompting him to claim that other managers repeatedly do the same without receiving cautions.
Arteta claimed some managers leave the touchline up to 36 times in 10 minutes without consequence. Writer Dan Critchlow argues that the focus on Arteta is unfair, suggesting Arsenal is being singled out and that potential future suspensions could negatively impact the team if the rule is not applied equally.
