Chelsea have been in the Premier League since its creation and are now the third club to reach this unwanted milestone after losing to Tottenham.

Chelsea reached the milestone of receiving 100 Premier League red cards following Cole Palmer's sending-off in a 2-0 home defeat against Tottenham. Palmer received two yellow cards from referee Chris Kavanagh during the match, marking the first dismissal of his senior career. Tottenham secured the victory at Stamford Bridge courtesy of a Mathys Tel strike alongside an own goal from Mike Penders.
The Blues are now only the third club in Premier League history to reach a century of dismissals, trailing Everton with 113 and Arsenal with 110. Former captain John Terry holds Chelsea's individual record with six dismissals, while the loss left manager Xabi Alonso to reflect on disciplinary and performance concerns.
