Lando Norris revisited his Singapore collision with McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri ahead of the United States Grand Prix. Norris had a fortnight to reflect on…

McLaren driver Lando Norris admitted he hates how he behaved toward the media following his Singapore Sprint collision with teammate Oscar Piastri. Reflecting on the incident ahead of the United States Grand Prix, Norris explained that he deeply regrets saying the wrong things or disrespecting people in public interviews, noting that he often questions his actions for hours after returning home.
While Norris maintained that his overtake attempt was a viable racing move, he acknowledged that attempting it against his McLaren teammate was wrong. McLaren decided against penalizing Norris after determining he showed proper contrition for the contact, which had ended Piastri's race and cost Norris three positions.
